About Us
For a truly dynamic learning experience that encourages the highest levels of academic endeavour, apply to join us at Griffith College. The College has developed a reputation for excellence and this tradition continues to be a central theme within the College. Class sizes are small in Griffith College Cork, and staff and lecturers alike go out of their way to make all students feel welcome and comfortable so they can do the very best in their studies.
Griffith Colleges programmes are designed to meet the needs of different groups from full-time to part-time, from short-term to long-term and from classroom to distance based. Griffith College also has a very active Continuing Education section for night-time courses in the areas of Business, Law, Computing, Secretarial, Design and Training Development.
Most of our courses are fully recognised and validated by HETAC, Nottingham Trent University or other external institutions, while also enjoying parallel recognition by professional bodies such as the NUJ. Most of our night courses are available by direct entry.
Griffith College was established in 1974. In Cork however, the forerunner to Griffith College Cork was known as Skerry's College and was in existence since 1884 and has a proud and long tradition.
The Cork campus is situated within easy reach of the city centre, and the train and bus stations. It is only a few minutes walk from the main shopping streets where all amenities and services are located. Griffith College has its main campus in Dublin which is situated on an extensive campus including on-campus accommodation and is just one mile from the city centre - see http://www.gcd.ie/
The Limerick campus also offers some full and part-time courses - see http://www.gcl.ie/
